  1. Kshh— These are the Terms of Service: the promises that go for all our games.
  2. Rules that differ by game are in each game's operation policy!

Terms of Service

These terms apply to every Gecko Games game. What differs by game is in each game's operation policy. In effect from: October 29, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set out the rights, duties and responsibilities between Gecko Games ("we" or "us") and you when you use the games we run (each a "Game"), and other matters needed for that. These terms cover the following games:

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. User: a person who agrees to these terms and uses a Game.
  2. Game: each mobile game we run. They are listed in Article 1.
  3. Account: the unit your game progress is saved under. Accounts are made separately for each Game, and one Game's account isn't connected to another's. The kinds of account a Game has are set out in its operation policy.
  4. Game data: everything you get or use in a Game, such as progress, characters, items, currencies, dress-up items and records. The names each Game uses are set out in its operation policy.
  5. Paid items: items you buy with money, such as currencies, packs and items with a period of use (monthly passes, season passes and so on).
  6. Free currency: currency you got by playing or as a reward.
  7. Random items: things where what you get is decided by chance.
  8. App market: where you download a Game and pay (for example, Google Play or the App Store).
  9. Operation policy: the detailed rules each Game sets within the scope of these terms (accounts, currencies and items, name and ranking event rules, how to delete an account and so on).
  10. Customer support: the help screen in a Game, or email (contact@geckogamestudio.com).

Article 4 (Posting and changing these terms)

  1. We post these terms in the Games and on this page.
  2. We may change these terms as far as the law allows. We announce a change in the in-game Mailbox or a pop-up and on this page 7 days before it takes effect, or 30 days before if it is unfavourable to you.
  3. If you don't agree to the changed terms, you can stop using the Game and leave. If you keep using it without saying you object by the date the change takes effect, you are treated as agreeing to it.

Article 5 (The agreement to use a Game)

  1. When you first open a Game, its start screen shows links to these terms and the Privacy Policy. When you start the Game from that screen, you are treated as agreeing to these terms and that Game's operation policy, the agreement for that Game is made, and an account is created. A separate agreement is made for each Game.
  2. We may refuse use in the following cases, and if we find out later, we may cancel or end the agreement:
    • using someone else's account, device or information without permission
    • aiming to break the law or these terms, or for criminal or improper purposes
    • using a Game from a country or region where we don't offer it
    • a person whose use was suspended signing up again
    • a young person who needs a guardian's consent but doesn't have it
    • other reasons that make it hard for us to accept
  3. We may delay use if we lack capacity, if there are technical difficulties, or if there is an outage.

Article 6 (Children, teens and guardians)

  1. The age from which each Game can be used is set out in its operation policy and on the app market. Players under 14 must have a guardian's consent to use a Game.
  2. Minors (under 19) need the consent of their guardian (legal representative) to buy paid items. Purchases made without this consent follow Article 20.
  3. A guardian can ask us through customer support to check the purchase records we still hold for their child, or to delete the account. Please check payment methods and receipts on the app market.

Article 7 (Managing your account)

  1. Only you may use your account. You may not sell, lend or hand it over to anyone else.
  2. An account tied only to a device, such as a guest account, can't be recovered if you delete the app, or change or reset your device. To keep your records, you must link an account the Game offers (for example, a Google account or an Apple account).
  3. You are responsible for managing your account and any account linked to it (for example, a Google account or an Apple account). We are not responsible for any loss caused by careless management (including someone else using your account or paying with it).

Article 8 (Matters not covered)

Anything not covered by these terms follows the operation policy, the relevant laws and general business practice.

Article 9 (Operation policy)

  1. Each Game has an operation policy, posted in the Game and on this site.
  2. An operation policy sets that Game's detailed rules (accounts, currencies and items, name and ranking event rules, how to delete an account and so on) within the scope of these terms.
  3. When we change an operation policy in a way that significantly affects your rights or duties, we announce it as in Article 4.
  4. We may change a name that breaks the rules, or reset it to a default name, without notice.

Article 10 (Personal information)

We handle your personal information under the relevant laws and our Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Our duties)

  1. We follow the law and these terms, and try to keep providing the Games.
  2. We keep security measures in place to protect personal information.
  3. When we sell paid items, we show on the purchase screen the price, what is included, the period of use, and whether withdrawal (cancelling the purchase) is restricted.

Article 12 (Your duties)

You must not:

  1. use another person's account, device or payment method without permission
  2. modify the game program, servers or saved data, or use hacking, cheating or tampering programs
  3. exploit bugs (errors), or spread a bug you know about without reporting it
  4. play with outside programs such as macros, or run several accounts for gain ("farming")
  5. trade accounts or game data for money or other goods (real-money trading)
  6. use abusive, hateful or obscene words, or names that imitate us or other people
  7. harass us or other users, make false reports, or disrupt our operations
  8. get refunds improperly, or use what you got from an item after it was refunded
  9. otherwise break the law, these terms or the operation policy

Article 13 (Providing the Games)

  1. We provide each Game during the hours we set under our operating policy. Unless we say otherwise, it is available 24 hours a day, all year round.
  2. We may set different hours, limits or features according to age, the law or the operation policy.
  3. We may stop all or part of a Game for maintenance, changes to game content, equipment failure, hacking or other attacks, abnormal use, network failure, natural disasters, laws or government policies, or other reasonable reasons. We tell you beforehand, or afterwards if that isn't possible.
  4. The Games need an internet connection. You pay any data charges.

Article 14 (Changes to a Game and ending it)

  1. We have the right to create, add to, change and fix the Games. We may change game content (balance, stages, items, rules other than odds and so on) at our discretion, and we announce major changes that are unfavourable to you in advance. Urgent or minor changes may be announced afterwards.
  2. We are not responsible if you don't get a benefit you expected (character or item abilities, rankings, rewards and so on) because a Game changed or stopped.
  3. If we have to end a Game for business reasons such as closing the business or falling revenue, we announce it 30 days before the end date in that Game's Mailbox or a pop-up and on this site.
  4. Paid items with no set period of use (such as paid currency) can be used only until the end date given in that announcement. Refunds after a Game ends are made only where, and as far as, the relevant law requires.
  5. When one Game ends, the agreements for the other Games carry on as they are.

Article 15 (Random items)

  1. For things whose result is decided by chance, we show what can come and the odds in the Game and on that Game's odds page, as the relevant law requires.
  2. The odds may change. We tell you before they do.

Article 16 (Ads)

  1. We may show ads in the Games.
  2. Any dealings you have with an advertiser by watching or tapping an ad are between you and the advertiser, and we are not responsible for them.
  3. We may use your advertising ID for ads. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Article 17 (Copyright and the right to use)

  1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Games and in their art, music, text and programs belong to us (or to the original rights holders).
  2. Game data such as characters, items and currencies is a right to use them to enjoy the Game in the ways we set. The rights to the database of game data belong to us.
  3. You may not copy, distribute or broadcast a Game, or use it to make money, without our permission. However, you may post screenshots and gameplay videos on social media, blogs, streams and video sites until we say otherwise. We may withdraw this permission at any time, or ask you to take videos down.
  4. The name and profile you set are shown to other users in the Game (on the rankings and so on).
  5. When the agreement ends, you must delete that Game's app.
  1. Paid items can be used only in the Game and on the account you bought them on (and, in Games with servers, on that server). They can't be transferred, lent or sold to another account or person.
  2. The period of use is as shown on the purchase screen. Items with no period shown have a period of use of 1 year. If the Game ends, though, Article 14 applies.
  3. If you have both bought currency and the same currency got for free, the bought currency is treated as used first, unless the relevant law says otherwise.

Article 19 (Payment)

  1. Payment follows the app market's payment methods and policies. Payment methods, limits, receipts and refund processing are managed by the app market.
  2. If you pay in a foreign currency, exchange rates and fees may make the amount actually charged differ from the price shown in the Game.

Article 20 (Withdrawal (cancelling a purchase))

  1. You can withdraw from a purchase (cancel it) within 7 days of the day you bought a paid item (or the day it became usable, if that is later).
  2. You can't withdraw in the following cases. For items that can be divided, you can withdraw only for the part these cases don't cover.
    • items that are used or applied right away when you buy them and are marked "This purchase can't be cancelled" on the purchase screen
    • when you have used bought currency, or opened something whose result is decided the moment you open it, such as a random item
    • when you have used even one thing from a pack, or any bonus that came with it
    • when you have already received rewards after buying, as with monthly or season passes
    • things you didn't buy yourself, such as gifts or rewards
    • things lost or made unusable through your own fault
    • other cases where the relevant law restricts withdrawal
  3. Items covered by paragraph 2 are marked as such on the purchase screen. Each Game's operation policy gives examples.
  4. If an item you bought is different from what was shown, advertised or agreed, you can withdraw within 3 months of receiving it and within 30 days of finding this out.
  5. If a minor bought something without a guardian's consent, the minor or the guardian can cancel the purchase. This doesn't apply if it was bought with money the guardian allowed the minor to spend, or if the minor tricked us into believing they were an adult or had consent.
  6. We decide whether the buyer was a minor and whether a guardian consented based on the payment account holder, the device, purchase records, other reports and so on, and we may ask for documents to confirm this. If the documents aren't provided, we won't process the cancellation.
  7. To apply for withdrawal, you must send us the app market's order number (on Google Play, the one starting with GPA.; on the App Store, the order ID on Apple's receipt) and your account ID through customer support. We check the purchase history, and may contact you or ask for more information if needed.
  8. When a withdrawal is accepted, we take back the item and everything you got from it, and start the refund through the app market within 3 business days. Items bought on the App Store can only be refunded by Apple: we show you how to ask Apple for the refund (reportaproblem.apple.com), and take the items back once Apple refunds them. If something was already used and can't be taken back, we take back an equal amount of other currency.
  9. Data charges for downloading the app or playing the Game are not refunded.

Article 21 (Refunds of money paid by mistake)

  1. For money charged by mistake or charged twice, you must first ask the app market for a refund. Only if the app market can't handle it do we refund it by the method you paid with.
  2. If it happened through your own fault, you pay the cost of the refund.

Article 22 (Restrictions on use)

  1. If you break Article 12, depending on how serious it is, we may give you a warning, change your name, remove you from the rankings, limit some features, suspend you for a period, or ban you permanently.
  2. We may take back or correct, without notice, game data gained by improper means, anything you got from refunded items, and rewards or currency given by mistake because of an error. If they were already used and can't be taken back, we may take back an equal amount of other currency.
  3. If we suspect hacking, account theft, cheating or farming, we may suspend the account temporarily until we have checked.
  4. We don't compensate for losses or refund unused paid items caused by a justified restriction.
  5. When we restrict your use, we tell you why in the in-game Mailbox or by email. In urgent cases, we restrict first and tell you afterwards.

Article 23 (Appeals)

  1. If you disagree with a restriction, you can appeal through customer support within 15 days of the day you were notified. We don't accept appeals after this period.
  2. We answer within a reasonable time.

Article 24 (Ending the agreement and leaving)

  1. You can ask to leave (delete your account) at any time in the way set out in that Game's operation policy and account deletion page. If you can't open the Game, you must ask by email through customer support.
  2. Leaving one Game leaves your accounts and agreements for the other Games as they are.
  3. When you leave, that Game's account and game data are deleted and can't be restored. Any paid items you have left are lost with them and are not refunded. Records the law requires us to keep are kept for the periods in our Privacy Policy.
  4. Other account requests, such as a data reset, follow each Game's operation policy.
  5. If you break Article 12 and it is hard to continue the agreement, we may end it. In that case we don't refund remaining paid items or pay damages.

Article 25 (Damages)

  1. If we or you break these terms and cause the other a loss, the one who broke them pays for it. However, there is no liability where there was neither intent nor negligence.
  2. If an outage in a Game happens through our fault, we may compensate by extending the period of time-limited paid items or by giving game currency instead.

Article 26 (Limits of our liability)

Unless we acted intentionally or with gross negligence, we are not responsible in the following cases:

  1. when we couldn't provide a Game because of something we couldn't prevent, such as natural disasters, war, power cuts, or problems current technology can't solve
  2. losses caused by outages or circumstances of other companies' services, such as telecom carriers, app markets, Google and Apple (sign-in, payment), Google (servers) and ad companies
  3. when a Game stopped for announced maintenance, or for repairing or replacing equipment
  4. losses caused by your own fault, careless account management, or problems with your device, operating system or network
  5. when a guest account is lost because the app was deleted, the device was changed or reset, or for other outside reasons
  6. disputes between users, or between a user and someone else
  7. losses related to free services, events, check-ins or ad rewards
  8. when you don't get, or lose, a result you hoped for (characters, items, rankings, rewards), such as not getting what you wanted from a random item
  9. when you deleted game data or your account yourself
  10. when hours or ways of using a Game are restricted by law or government policy

Article 27 (Notices)

  1. Notices to one person are given through the in-game Mailbox or a pop-up, or to the email address you gave when contacting us.
  2. Notices to everyone are given by posting them in that Game's Mailbox or a pop-up, or on this site for more than 7 days.
  3. Mailbox gifts must be claimed within the time set in each Game's operation policy. After that, they disappear.
  4. If you turn phone notifications on, we may also tell you by notification about gifts and letters in your Mailbox and about service notices.
  5. Promotional messages such as event and gift news are sent by notification only if you separately agree in the Game, and never between 9 PM and 8 AM. You can turn notifications off at any time in the Game's settings or your phone's settings, and turning them off never limits your use of the Game.

Article 28 (Complaints and disputes)

  1. Please send opinions or complaints through the help screen in the Game or by email (contact@geckogamestudio.com). If they are found to be justified, we handle them within a reasonable time.
  2. When a dispute mediation body mediates, we explain what we did in good faith.

Article 29 (Governing law, courts and language)

  1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any lawsuit is heard by the court that has jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act.
  2. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the mandatory laws of the country where you live give you and that can't be waived by agreement.
  3. These terms are written in Korean and translated into English. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails.

Addendum

These terms take effect on October 29, 2026.

It replaces the Gecko Games Terms of Service in effect from October 24, 2026.
